How to talk so that kids will listen…

I was recommended this by my own therapist and I’ll be forever grateful. How To Talk So That Kids Will Listen, And Listen So That Kids Will Talk, by Adele Faber and Elaine Mazlish is a brilliant parenting book. The authors are on the side of both children and their parents and offer simple practical ways to communicate better which work with all ages (including adults!). There are also versions for little kids and for teenagers. This is a book, so unfortunately not free (unless you order it from the library), but you can pick up second hand copies quite cheaply.
